AST2020 – Update 18th December 2020

We would like to thank you again for your patience and understanding throughout this very drawn out and lengthy process.

We are now beginning the process of calculating the pro rata refunds to all those who registered to attend AST2020 or who booked trade exhibition space for the event. As you will be aware from previous correspondence unfortunately, this is not a full refund as we were not able to secure all of the monies back from the suppliers and we had to secure the services of solicitors to pursue the claims.  This was further complicated by the fact that suppliers were based in England and Scotland, meaning they were governed by two legal systems.  There were also expenses incurred, which we could not retrieve.

Taking all this into account, the accountants have worked out a formula for pro rata refunds. Rest assured that the AST2020 Organising Committee did everything within their power to recover as much expenditure as they could, whilst keeping legal fees in check.

We intend to roll-out the individual refund emails within a few days, if you have not received your email by the end of January please contact .
